SUMAIT University get four faculties: Education, Science, Arts den Social Studies, den Islamic Studies den Shari’ah. De school dey award Bachelor of Arts plus Education (BA. Ed.) den Bachelor of Science plus Education (BSc. Ed.), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.Sc. Inf. Tech.), Bachelor of Arts in Counseling Psychology wich na dem approve by de Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).[1]

Center for Professional den Continuing Education

Na dem establish de Department of Continuing Education for 2014 insyd make e provide non-degree courses for Certificate den Diploma levels accredit by National Accreditation Council for Technical Education (NACTE).[2]

Centre for Research den Postgraduate Studies (CRPS)

De CRPS dey coordinate research, publication, consultancy activities, den postgraduate studies for de varsity. So far dem publish several books by de center. For December 2017 insyd, de CRPS launch de varsity ein first academic journal, SUMAIT University Journal (http://journal.sumait.ac.tz/) wey dey carry academic articles for English, Arabic den Kiswahili languages insyd wey dem dey issue am twice a year.

Na SUMAIT University dey cam introduce Master of Arts in Shariah den Islamic Jurisprudence Programme, Zanzibar Mail Reports. Na dem expect dem expect make de programme start for de varsity ein main campus. Dem approve am by de Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU).[3][4]

SUMAIT University Journal (SUJ) be peer-reviewed multidisciplinary journal wey dem dey publish by de Center of Research den Postgraduate Studies (CRPS), SUMAIT University, Zanzibar, Tanzania, plus ISSN 2507-7864.

SUJ be open-access journal (OAJ) dem publish biannually insyd Arabic, English, den Swahili plus articles for various research areas wey dey includ, but no be limit to, Islam, Art, Social Studies, Computer & Information Technology, Natural Science.

Na dem first publish SUJ for 2016 insyd as journal dem print. Dem publish five issues of dis journal dem print til December 2019, after wich de journal go online (e-journal). Dis be make e keep pace plus modern advancements den make e enable more searchers make dem access ein articles from various areas all ova de world.

De University Library get about 13,000 volumes of books, journals dem subscribe den periodicals den newspapers. De library be member of COTUL wich dey support students den staff make dem collaborate den share information plus oda Tanzanian Libraries. E sanso connect plus GUST library insyd Kuwait. De University E- Library get more dan 50 computers.[1]
