Adansi West District den Adansi East District; wey make de remaining part come join Obuasi Municipal District den Adansi South District respectively. For 15th March 2018, dem split de southeast part take create Adansi Asokwa District. De district dey de southern part of de Ashanti Region, wey Fomena be dema capital town
