Big Men receive praise from critics. E get 90/100 for Metacritic[2] top plus 100% rating for Rotten Tomatoes.[3] For The New York Times, Jeannette Catsoulis write say "dis cool den sharp picture of how global capitalism dey work be as amazing for de access dem get as for de fact say dem no dey judge".[4] Alan Scherstuhl of The Village Voice talk say de film "no be simple talk against people wey dey chop money without do anything, like tick wey dey suck blood from person wey no get food", but e be "picture wey show everything clear clear".[5] Insyd The Washington Post, Stephanie Merry argue , "Boynton’s most impressive feat in 'Big Men' is how she takes an impossibly convoluted scenario, makes sense of it and tells a story that's riveting on its own but also serves as a parable about greed and human nature."[6]
