Catherine Apalat (born 28 August 1981) be a Ugandan journalist, blogger, filmmaker den still photographer for Uganda Media Women's Association (UMWA).[1] As of April 2013, Apalat be de Programs Manager Mama FM, a community radio station under UMWA.[2]

Apalat join Top Radio wey she work plus News Production Department, dey produce news, editing wey she specialize insyd crime reporting insyd 2003. Apalat join de Great Lakes Film Production insyd 2005-2006 wer na she work as a script writer den continuity film crew.
From 2007 to-date, Apalat sanso work as a producer den photographer for still photography plus Uganda Media Women's Association Newspaper pull out (The Other Voice) den Grass Root Women Empowerment Network (GWEN) Magazine among odas. Apalat work as an Fredskorpset (FK) Exchange Participant (Norwegian Peace Corp) plus College of Journalism and Mass Communication (CJMC FM) insyd 2011, Nepal. De Nepali Ministry of Communication, Nepal recognize Apalat ein contribution for showcasing de different African traditions den culture thru films insyd de first ever Nepal Africa film festival insyd May 2011.[3][4][5]
