Bensusan first take up athletics as able-bodied competitor whilst she dey live insyd South Africa.[2] Insyd 2009 whilst she dey compete insyd hurdle event, she tear de nerves insyd ein right knee. De injury result for paralysis insyd ein right leg below ein knee.[2] Bensusan look for make she cam turn classified as para-sport athlete buh na she be unable make she gain classification from de South African Paralympic Committee.[2] As ein mommie be German na she be eligible make she represent Germany, den so she travel go Europe make she take up residency insyd Leverkusen wey na dem subsequently classify am as T44 track den field athlete.[2]

Insyd 2014, she represent Germany for ein first major international event, she travel to Swansea insys Wales make she compete insyd de 2014 IPC Athletics European Championships. Der na she win three silver medals, insyd de 100m, 200m den 400m sprints. Insyd de two shorter events na de Dutch 'Blade Babe' Marlou van Rhijn beat am, den insyd de 400 metres na France ein Marie-Amélie Le Fur beat am by fresh world record time. Year later Bensusan take part insyd de 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships for Doha insyd.
