She later work as law draughtswoman for de Attorney General ein Chamber.[3] For 1973 insyd, dem appoint am as judge give de High Court of Tanzania, wey emake am de first African woman High Court judge for east anaa central Africa insyd.[4] Dem name am as Minister of Justice afor 1975 insyd, wey emake am one of de first two women wey serve for Tanzanian cabinet insyd.[5]

After say Joseph Warioba succeed Manning as Justice Minister for 1983 insyd, she work as counsel for de Tanzanian embassy wey dey Ottawa, Canada.
