History
editKaratina University dem found am insyd 2007 as Moi University campus for central Kenya, dem dey bell am de Moi University Central Kenya Campus. Edey locate about 15 km north of de town of Karatina, e get original intake of 100 students. Three years later, for 2010 insyd, na dem upgrade am go constituent college of Moi University, wey dem rename Karatina University College. Insyd 2013, na dem declare am varsity insyd ein own right, wey dem rename am Karatina University.[2][3][4]

editKaratina University ein main campus dey locate for Kagochi, de site of de former Karatina University College about 15 km from Karatina town. Further sites dey locate insyd de town of Nanyuki den insyd de settlement of Itiati, de latter be home to de university ein School of Education and Social Sciences.[2]
