Kumasi Technical University be one of de Polytechnics insyd Ghana dem divert to varsity.[3] Edey locate at de heart of Kumasi, de capital city of de Ashanti Region of Ghana. De Vice of de Kumasi Technical University be Professor Nana Osei-Wusu Achiaw. He be de first VC since de tym na dem divert am go varsity.

De varsity, dem know am earlier as Kumasi Technical Institute, na dem establish am insyd 1954, buh e start actual teaching den learning insyd 1955, wey dey deal mainly plus craft courses. E cam turn polytechnic for 30 October 1963 den varsity insyd 2017. From then on, e concentrate for Technician den few Diploma Programmes top. Additionally, na dem offer few professional courses. Dey follow de enactment of de Polytechnic Law 1992, PNDC Law 321, Kumasi Polytechnic cease dey exist for ein previous form insyd wey e cam turn tertiary institution.
