editFor 1928 insyd, dem split off de trade den technical courses for Makerere College (now Makerere University) go de new Kampala Technical School.[2] De school move go Nakawa wey ecam turn de Kampala Technical Institute.[3] For 1958 nsyd, dem move dat school go Kyambogo wey dem rename am as Uganda Technical College wey dem finally rename am as Uganda Polytechnic, Kyambogo.
Institute of Teacher Education, Kyambogo
editITEK start as government teacher training college for 1948 insyd for Nyakasura, Kabarole District. For 1954 insyd, dem transfer am go Kyambogo Hill as national teachers’ college wey later ecam turn ITEK by statute of parliament for 1989 insyd.[4]
