Dem born McIntosh insyd de Melbourne suburb of Sandringham for 16 December 1982.[4] She get cerebral palsy wich dey affect ein left side.[5] She dey job as swimming instructor wey she live insyd de Melbourne suburb of Beaconsfield.[3]

McIntosh first compete give Australia insyd 1998.[3] For de 2000 Sydney Games, she win three gold medals insyd de women's 100 m – T38, women's 200 m – T38 den women's 400 m – T38 events,[6] for wich she receive Medal of de Order of Australia.[1] Na dem name am de 2000 Junior Female Paralympian of de Year.[3] For de 2004 Athens Games, she win silver medal insyd de women's 200 m – T37 event den bronze medal insyd de women's 100 m – T37 event,[6] wey she fini fifth insyd de women's 400 m – T38 event.[7] Despite she recover from stress fracture insyd ein left foot.[5] For de 2008 Beijing Paralympics, she win two gold medals insyd de women's 100 m – T37 den women's 200 m – T37 events.[6] She dey zuk de world record for 100 m, 200 m den 400 m T37.[3] Na dem name am de 2008 Female Paralympian of de Year.[3]

For de IPC Athletics World Championships, she win gold medals insyd women's 100 m den 200 m T37 events for both de 2002 Lille[8] den 2006 Assen competitions.[9] For de 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games, she win gold medal insyd de Women's 100 m – T37 event.[4] Na she be Australian Institute of Sport athletics scholarship holder insyd 2003.[10] She dey take break make she consider ein future insyd athletics.[3]
