He obtain ein BSc, MSc, den PhD degrees from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, insyd Tennessee. Ndurumo be an associate professor of psychology at de University of Nairobi, Kenya.

Na dem born Ndurumo insyd Kenya wey he cam turn deaf aged eight, as a result of meningitis.[1] Missionaries support am make he attend high school insyd de United States of America at Harrison-Chilhowee Baptist Academy insyd Seymour, Tennessee, insyd 1971.[1] He then study at Gallaudet University insyd 1974 wer na he start ein undergraduate education, wey dem transfer am go Vanderbilt University insyd 1976.[1] After he obtain a PhD insyd educational administration plus related areas insyd psychology den special education, na he be an assistant professor insyd de department of psychology at Gardner–Webb University, North Carolina, dey start August 1980 til he return to ein native country, Kenya, insyd 1982.[1]

From 1982 to 2003, Ndurumo work at de Kenya Institute of Education, wey he rise to de rank of deputy director den head of special education.[1] He lef Kenya Institute of Education insyd December 2003 wey he join Moi University, Eldoret, Kenya as a senior lecturer. Insyd 2009, Ndurumo move from Moi University to University of Nairobi, wer he now be an associate professor of psychology.

From April 1998 to August 1999 Ndurumo serve insyd de Education of Kenya Review Commission. Na he be principal player insyd de development of special education curricula for both undergraduate den graduate levels for de University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Daystar University den Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE). He sanso develop de first distance education course insyd special education for de University of Nairobi. Na he wrep a distance education module on educational psychology for de Kenya Institute of Special Education wey na he teach sign language den principles of total communication at Daystar University den Maseno University insyd Kenya.

Nduromo start de development of de M.A den PhD degree programs for counselling for Moi University wey he san start make dem implement PhD for der educational psychology degree program. He san be de author of Exceptional Children: Developmental Consequences and Intervention.

Nduromo be de editor-in-chief wey he be one of de people wey dem do de African Annals of the Deaf. He san be de founding chair for de Kenya National Association of the Deaf, den de founding secretary for de Kenya Association of the Hard of Hearing. Nduromo found de African Institute of Deaf Studies and Research, wey he be member for de selection committee for de appointment of members of de National Educational Board. He be involved insyd leadership, education den oda tins for de disabled menners wey dey ein country. He san be involved for de religious leadership for de deaf, na ein paddy waa be Dr. Andrew Foster, wey ein be one of de foremost missionaries for deaf menners wey dey Africa.

Na Ndurumo be influential make he dey get American Signed English dem adopt insyd Kenyan schools for deaf children; na dis "was opposed by the deaf community ... [and] remains a sore point for many deaf Kenyans to this day", as ebe base for English rather dan Kenyan languages.[2]
