Na de Nsukka group be known for say edey work so say ego revive de practice of uli den incorporate ein designs go contemporary art insyd by say dem go use media such as acrylic paint, tempera, gouache, pen den ink, pastel, oil paint, den watercolor. Although traditionally na uli artists be female, na chaw artists of de group be male. Na sam be poets den writers.[1]

De Nsukka group start as sam trend wey you go fi sense for de works of sam African artists. Edey reveal ein body as original mix of cubism den primitive arts.[1]

Insyd October 1997, de National Museum of African Art of de Smithsonian Institution launch de exhibition De Poetics of de Line: Seven Artists of de Nsukka Group, wey na esana be de inaugural exhibition of de Sylvia H. Williams Gallery.[2]
