editAt de 1980 Winter Paralympics, Berghofer win de gold medal insyd de 3B slalom plus tym of 1:38.23 (for 2nd place Brigitte Madlener wey plete plus tym of 1:40.68 den 3rd place Evelyn Werner plus tym of 1:45.87).[2] She win silver medal for de giant slalom plus tym of 3:13.47 (for de podium top, Brigitte Madlener, gold medal plus tym of 2:52.86 den Sabine Stiefbold, bronze medal plus tym of 3:15.88).[3]
At de 1984 Winter Paralympics insyd Innsbruck, she win silver medal insyd de downhill LW5 / 7 (plus realized tym of 1: 27.65),[4] den three bronze medals: for de slalom, giant slalom den alpine super combined insyd; all for de LW5 / 7 category insyd.[5][6][7]
