editNa dem born Oelsner for 19 June 1970 wey he currently be advertising salesman.[2] Insyd 1991 na he injure insyd motorcycle accident wich lef am plus paralysed left arm.[2][3] He enter de 1994 Winter Paralympics insyd Lillehammer as LW6 class competitor insyd de biathlon den cross country skiing.[2] Na Oelsner ein first games be success, he win three golds, one solo silver, den one silver as part of de German relay team.[2][4] Since then he continue dey use de same skis, even he dey bed plus dem, as matter of tradition.[3] For de 1998 Games insyd Nagano he win two golds den one individual silver, den silver plus de German relay team.[2][4]

editFor de 2002 Winter Paralympics insyd Salt Lake City Oelsner win gold insyd de 7.5 km biathlon den de 5 km classic cross country.[3] However, he go go on make he cam turn de first athlete make dem send am home from Winter Paralympic Games secof he fail drug test wen he test positive for de steroid methenolone.[5][6] Na dem suspend am prior to de 10 km cross country event wey dem subsequently strip am of de two gold medals.[7][8] Oelsner protest ein innocence,[9] wey he claim say na der be laboratory error anaa act of sabotage be involved.[10]
