For November 2006 insyd, UBNASU take strike action against university management for sam dispute ova access wey dem go park.[1] For September 2010 insyd, UBNASU along plus de University of Botswana Academic den Senior Support Staff Union (UBASSSU), oppose salary adjustments for de university insyd wey lyk dem go see de vice-chancellor ein salary increase 100 percent. Both unions call off strike actions as dem scrap de salary increase.[2]

Gadzani Mhotsha, UBNASU dema General Secretary, san serve as general secretary of de BFTU.[3]
