Yves Apollinaire Pede (1959–2019) na he be a Beninese voodoo artist. After dem commission am make he reproduce reliefs give de Abomey Museum, he make sand paintings of well-known personalities such as Nelson Mandela.[1] He gradually cam turn oriented towards textile art, dey look to Haitian den Cuban Vodou artists for inspiration. He sanso be noted for ein large cement sculptures den bas-reliefs, wey dem state say he get a "special interest" insyd Kulito, a Fon word wich literally dey mean "the one from the path of death".[2][3]
