School of Education

De School of Education be one of de two original Schools of de Zambian Open University (ZAOU) wey dem start as soon as de University gbele ein doors to students insyd 2005. Na de oda pioneer school be de School of Law den Social Sciences.

De School of Education start plus three programmes namely Bachelor of Education in Adult Education, Bachelor of Education in Primary Education den Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education. Later de School develop three oda programmes: Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Education in Guidance den Counselling den Bachelor of Education in Special Education.

Insyd 2012, de University decide make dem abolish de School of Media, Performing den Fine Arts. As a result, na dem absorb Fine Arts into de School of Humanities den Social Sciences, while na dem incorporate Theatre Arts insyd de School of Education, thus dey give seven programmes to de School of Education, wey dey make am de biggest School insyd de University.

De School of Law at Zambian Open University be de second law school make dem establish insyd Zambia after de school of law for de University of Zambia. Ebe one of de oldest schools for ZAOU. De School of Law be currently de biggest Law School insyd Zambia.

School of Graduate Studies

De Zambian Open University start dey offer post-graduate studies insyd 2006 plus intake of 15 students insyd one programme – Master’s degree of Education in Literacy den Development. Since then dem introduce twelve more postgraduate programmes; wey der be currently total of twelve programmes.

School of Business Studies

De School of business Studies dey offer number of degree programmes wich dey include Bachelors, Masters den PhD programmes. De Programmes dem dey offer for full-time den open den distance learning.

ACCA Accreditation

Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) Degree Programme offer by de Zambian Open University na ebe insyd January, 2020 accredit by de Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). For dis regard insyd dem go offer ACCA members Exemptions so say dem go obtain Degree in Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) offer by ZAOU.

ZAOU students vs de Zambia Institute for Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE)

Insyd 2009 de Lusaka High Court order de Zambia Institute for Advanced Legal Education (ZIALE) make e enrol law students from Zambia Open University (ZAOU) for de 2009 den 2010 legal practitioners wey dey qualify course after de student take ZIALE go court.
