Two oda candidates be Charles Obeng-Inkoom for National Democratic Congress den Evans Idan Coffie for Convention People's Party san contest insyd de 2016 by-election for de Agona West constituency wey dem do am insyd 2016.[16][17][18] Cynthia win de election by obtaining 32,770 votes out of de 56,878 cast, wey edey rep 58.03 percent of total valid votes.[6]

2020 elections

She contest de 2020 Ghanaian general election as de parliamentary candidate for de New Patriotic Party den dem elect am for de second four-year term.[19] She poll 30,513 out of total of 59,193 valid votes cast as against Paul Ofori-Amoah who rep de opposition National Democratic Congress wey he get 27,673 votes,[19] den Independent candidate Ishmael Kofi Tekyi Turkson get 1,007 votes.[20]
