Ho Municipal District be one of de eighteen districts wey dey Volta Region, Ghana.[1][2] Na e be ordinary district assembly for 10th March 1989 den ebe Ho District, Until dem tear de southern part for de district under presido John Agyekum Kufuor for 13th August 2004 take make Adaklu-Anyigbe District, wey dem maintain de one wey remain as Ho District, wey 28th June 2012, dem saa tear take make Ho West District; wey dem raise de one way remain go municipal district assembly status for dat same year naa make Ho Municipal District, e be Legislative Instrument (L.I) 2074[3] wey dem take establish am. De municipality dey de central part of Volta Region, wey Ho be de capital town.
