editDem born Margaret Ivy Amoakohene for 17 July 1960 at Wenchi insyd de Brong Ahafo Region. She be native of Nsawkaw, capital of de Tain District insyd de Bono Region. She obtain ein GCE Ordinary level certificate from St. Francis Secondary School insyd Jirapa, insyd de Upper West Region of Ghana from 1974 to 1979.[1] She then proceed go St. Louis Senior High School insyd Kumasi make she obtain ein GCE Advanced level certificate. Insyd 1981, she enrol at de University of Ghana for a Bachelor of Arts degree insyd French den Spanish.[2][3] Amoakohene get ein postgraduate education at de University of Ghana wer she graduate plus a Master of Philosophy degree den a Post-graduate Diploma insyd Communication Studies. She later obtain a Doctor of Philosophy degree insyd mass communication from de University of Leicester insyd England.[2]
Council of State
editFor February 2017 insyd, Presido Nana Akuffo-Addo nominate Amoakohene as one of de eleven president-appointed members of de Council of State.[4] De 25-member Council of State be de constitutionally mandated advisory body give de Presido.[4][5][6]
