Insyd 2012, he go contest for de Atebubu Amantin seat for de ticket of de NDC insyd de sixth parliament for de fourth republic wey he win. Dem elect am plus16,964 votes out of de 34,411 total valid votes cast, equivalent to 49.30%.[4] Nanja no fi maintain ein position for parliament as a Member of Parliament give Attebubu Amantin during de 2016 elections sake of ban wey dem place for ein head top by members wey dey de traditional council insyd ein constituency. De ban wey dem place sake of de way dem talk say he dey insult de queen mother for ein constituency for radio top.[5][6]
