Currently, dem vote den elect Evans Opoku Bobie for de 2020 general election as de Member of Parliament give de constituency form de New Patriotic Party (NPP).[2] He win de election plus total of 34,684 votes (52.21%) of de total votes cast as he beat ein rival Mohammed Haruna of National Democratic Party (NDC). Dem dey see de constituency as one of de stronghold give de New Patroitic Party wer dem win for de last five general election wey dem hold for de country insyd.[3]
