He go secondary school for Mfantsipim School, where na he be part of de school ein national debating team. Kofi Asamoah start ein tertiary education for University of Ghana, Legon. But as he start dey do filmmaking, he go NAFTI, where he graduate plus degree for Film and Television Production, plus major insyd Film Directing. Asamoah later go Ghana Institute of Journalism, where e get master's degree for Public Relations. He later move go US, wer he go study Filmmaking for New York Film Academy.

editKofi start ein career as news reporter for Skyy Power FM/TV, wer he cam turn de voice give dema reality show. For 2009, he start dey do filmmaking for Kumasi. He write den produce ein first content for 2012, wey dem dey call "Boys Kasa" (comic series), wey feature Kalybos, wey ebe dat one shoot am into Ghana movie industry.[9][10][11]
Asamoah produce den sana direct chaw Ghanaian films wey dey include Area Boys (2011), Kalybos in China (2015),[12] John and John (2017), Amakye and Dede, a 2016 film wey feature Majid Michel, John Dumelo den Salma Mumin wey he win Best Movie for de Year Award (Ghana) for City People Entertainment Awards 2016.[13]
