Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur (dem born am as William Edmund Davidson Amissah-Arthur)[1] (29 April 1951 – 29 June 2018) be Ghanaian economist, academic den politician wey be de fifth Vice-President of Ghana insyd 4th Republic, for office from 6 August 2012 until 7 January 2017, under President John Dramani Mahama. Previously, na he be Governor for de Bank of Ghana from 2009 to 2012.

Na Amissah-Arthur be research assistant for de Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research between 1974 den 1975. He later join de Economics Department as a teaching assistant from 1977 to 1978, going on wey he cam turn assistant lecturer insyd 1979. He lecture for de Department of Economics for de University of Ghana between 1980 den 1988. He san cam turn lecturer for de Department of Economics, Anambra State College of Education, Awka, Anambra State, insyd Nigeria (August 1981 – July 1983).[17]

He go into politics til 1997 wen he resign from de public sector den go into finance den economic consultancy. He work as a consultant for de World Bank insyd The Gambia. He san serve as a consultant for de Netherlands' government education project insyd Ghana. He den work as Senior Economist for de Sigma One Corporation insyd Ghana between 1998 den 2000. Between 2001 den 2002, he dey on assignment for de Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.[15]

From April 1993, he continue as de Deputy Minister for Finance insyd de Rawlings government after de establishment of constitutional rule until March 1997.
